«LA PENYA BARCELONISTA CINC COPES, was founded by a group of Barça members on December 3, 1953. The 1951/52 and 1952/53 seasons, the most successful to date in the history of FC Barcelona, had come to an end.
Our «Penya» was formed to pay tribute and commemorate the trophies won by F.C. Barcelona during the first of those two triumphant seasons (1951/1952), and to pay tribute to the players, coaches and directors who made those successes possible.
Once the league was over, a new edition of the Cup, then known as the «Generalísimo» Cup, began. Successively and comfortably, the azulgrana team eliminated Atho. de Madrid, Malaga, and R. Valladolid. In the final, played on May 25, 1952 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, they faced Valencia C.F. After a disconcerting start, and a score of 0-2, both goals scored by former Barcelona player Badenes, Manchón made it 1-2 on the stroke of half-time. In the twenty-fifth minute of the second half, Vila equalized with two goals. In the 90th minute, César, «El Pelucas», saw the referee disallow the goal that could have been the winning goal. With both teams forced to go to extra time, F.C. Barcelona clearly won with two more goals by Kubala and César.

Estamos seguros de que él y su equipo cumplirán sus promesas y continuarán el buen trabajo de mejorar el movimiento internacional de la penya.
Por otro lado, tenemos serias dudas de credibilidad y preparación con la candidatura encabezada por Nicolas Fayet, tanto que en nuestra opinión esta candidatura podría perjudicar a la Federación y al movimiento internacional de la penya. Por lo tanto, nos oponemos firmemente a ella y pedimos a todos los penyes que hagan lo mismo.
