Waterfalls in catalonia

It is located in the Rupit stream within the municipality of Rupit, a town located in the Osona region, in the north of the province of Barcelona. The Rupit stream is a tributary of the Ter river on its left side, which originates from a set of springs and torrents originating in the high areas of the Collsacabra mountain range.[3] It is a waterfall of about 1,500 m in length.
It is a waterfall of about 95 meters high, very popular among canyoners. The jump is practically vertical and separates the Collsacabra from the Guilleries. After being born in a sandstone environment, the stream falls through a high limestone balcony whose lower half is made of travertine.[6] The descent has been divided into two parts of about 50 m each, with rappel lines to the right of the waterfall.[2] The easiest way to get to the waterfall is to go down the canyon and climb to the right.
The easiest way to reach the area is to leave from the village of Rupit, as it is located in its municipal district, passing under the suspension bridge that crosses the Rupit stream. After the church, leave the houses behind, and continue along a track to the ‘Carraguell’ fountain, arriving then at the bridge of Sala (a medieval stone bridge that connects the village with Cantonigrós) to continue from there along the path along the stream of Rupit, passing by the fountain of Pomareda and shortly after (a quarter of an hour) you will reach the cliffs where the waterfall is.
