El Corte Inglés and Casa del Libro have signed an agreement creating a joint venture for the distribution of digital reading products. All Tagus products and services -launched by La Casa del Libro in 2011-, which includes various models of e-readers as well as more than 100,000 book titles in digital format, will be present in all El Corte Inglés centers and on its website.
This new partnership between Casa del Libro and El Corte Inglés, with a transparent philosophy, offers customers the possibility of accessing their books wherever, whenever and however they want thanks to the library in the «cloud», but also gives them the possibility of receiving the recommendations of a specialist in any of the bookstores of both distribution groups.
All El Corte Inglés bookstores will be able to sell the Tagus digital catalog through their website and in physical stores, through the sale of Tagus devices and e-book download cards.
