La Sexta is controlled through the Atresmedia studios in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid). Previously, when it was owned by Gestora de Inversiones Audiovisuales La Sexta, the channel had two headquarters: one in Ciudad de la Imagen in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), where news programs, programs and other logistics were recorded, and another in Edificio Imagina in Esplugas de Llobregat (Barcelona), where its continuity and broadcasting was managed.
The Gestora de Inversiones Audiovisuales La Sexta received the broadcasting license on November 25, 2005.[1] It began test broadcasting in DTT on December 12, shortly before the assigned analog frequencies in Madrid (33) and Barcelona (63) were known.[2] On December 23, it began its analog broadcasting in Madrid (33) and Barcelona (63).[3] On December 23, it began its analog broadcasting in the Spanish Broadcasting Corporation (Gestora de Inversiones Audiovisuales La Sexta).
On December 23rd, it began its analog broadcasting with the loop that broadcast in digital, in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona, extending later. On January 23, 2006, a promotional video about the channel’s tuning was broadcast, and it was not until February 20 that test broadcasts with content began. They start at 21:00h with documentaries (Champions, Natura) and programs dedicated to tuning (Tuning Mania). Since February 22, La Sexta has been broadcasting twelve hours of programming per day.

Hundreds of houses affected. Millions of euros in losses. Scenes of panic and rescues of people trapped in their homes, on the verge of losing their lives. The passage of the DANA through the province of Toledo has left a trail of destruction in its wake that does not seem to have mattered too much to those responsible for labeling the program Al rojo vivo on La Sexta.
Someone on Thursday’s program had the idea of making a play on words with the name of the city, Toledo, and Todo lodo, referring to the cleaning and debris removal work that was being undertaken in various locations in the province such as Cobisa, Arges, Guadamur or the provincial capital itself.
It is striking that the label could have been overprinted for so long, especially when the program has been devoted to the damage caused by the flood, with live connections with affected people showing how their homes had been left after the tsunami of mud that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
