300.000 pesetas a euros

1 euro a peseta española

20000000 peseta to euro

When converting pesetas to euros, it is essential to be clear about the equivalence between both currencies:1 € = 166’386 pesetasSo, to make the conversion, you only have to divide the amount of pesetas by the value of one euro, that is, by 166’386 and round the second decimal place; the rounding will be made downwards if the third decimal place is less than 5 and upwards if it is equal to or greater than 5.
To see it more clearly, we will apply an example of how to change from pesetas to euros: How much are 250,000 pesetas in euros? The result will be obtained by dividing 250,000 / 166’386 = 1502’53026As the third decimal is zero, we will have to round the previous decimal down and, therefore, we have that 250,000 pesetas are equivalent to 1,502’53 euros.
In case you wanted to do it the other way around and convert from euros to pesetas, you would have to multiply the value in euros by its value, that is, by 166’386.For example, if we want to convert the value of 250 euros into pesetas:250€ x 166’386 = 41596’5We see that those 250€ are equivalent to 41.596’50€.

It was a complicated change, where it created a great inflation due to the mismatch of the exchange rate from pesetas to euros, which played with the picaresque, and made that a simple coffee went from being worth 100 pesetas, to be worth 1 euro, which means that, with the conversion of 1 euro is equal to 166.38 pesetas, it created an inflation and a price increase of 66%!
In the same way as the banknotes, in order to change the peseta coins to euros, the coins that were in circulation on January 1, 2002 will be changed. It will also be possible to exchange the 2,000 peseta coins that were in circulation on January 1, 2002, as well as collector, commemorative and special coins.
