Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the fifth Black Ops installment and the seventeenth Call of Duty. Chronologically the game is set after the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game is also the first in the Call of Duty saga to have a connection to other standalone titles: Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. The game was released on November 13, 2020.
In January 1981, CIA agents Russell Adler, Alex Mason and Frank Woods are sent to target Qasim Javadi and Arash Kadivar for their role in the Iran hostage crisis. With intelligence gained from interrogating Qasim, the team tracks Arash to Turkey. Arash boasts that Perseus was responsible for organizing the hostage crisis before he was executed. U.S. President Ronald Reagan authorizes a black task force to neutralize Perseus after Jason Hudson and Adler inform him of his threat.

Since Black Ops Cold War allows you to install and uninstall, as well as play its game modes completely independently, the analysis we have in hand will treat them, likewise, completely separately.
The multiplayer mode is arguably the most popular of the game. I could spend thousands of words defining how the game modes work, how the class creation system is, to what extent it reaches the customization of weapons and a host of details that, truth be told, with a simple gameplay of those that abound on the Internet you would be much clearer. That’s why I’m going to focus more on the sensations left by Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer.
I’m not sure to what extent it’s simple nostalgia or I really like this ugly aesthetic, but what I do know is that it all clicks in my head and Black Ops Cold War, at least visually, is tremendously appealing to me.
There are few buts to put to Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer beyond liking some maps or others, some game modes or others. For better or worse, innovation is not one of the strengths of Call of Duty and Black Ops Cold War, taking a step back from previous installments, puts on the table a bet that we have already seen on numerous occasions. Without surprises or great fuss, Treyarch has hit the nail on the head with what die-hard fans were asking for: a return to 2010 in many ways.

The Cold War was a conflict that spanned from the end of World War II in 1945, until the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. The conflict predominated between the United States and the Soviet Union and involved nuclear weapons. This conflict is the main plot of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
It all began in 1945, the allies could not agree on how the government of Germany and the other nations would be, it was then that in 1949 Germany was divided and from there was demarcated the border between capitalism and communism known as «The Iron Wall» (not to be confused with the Berlin Wall, as this was an imaginary barrier).
After the missile crisis in 1961, fear grew in the U.S. and nearby countries of a possible attack by the USSR and the threat of war grew alarmingly and this led to the failed invasion of Cuba in 1963.

By 1950 the North Koreans invaded the South and UN troops were forced to move in and in response China sent its troops to support the North.
