The beauty concept precios

Tropical beauty meaning

Aesthetics is a part of philosophy, which has as its object the study of the essence and perception of beauty. It consists of the philosophical reflection on art, analyzing the values that are contained in the work of art.
Baumgarten defined aesthetics in 1750 as the science of the beautiful, to which is added a study of the essence of art, of the relations of this with beauty and other values. Beauty is consonance as opposed to ugliness or dissonance.
As can be easily understood, the notion of beauty is a philosophical concept, but for a scientist it should be a measurable property of matter. The scientific spirit wants to quantify everything, looking for a mathematical logic that defines what is beautiful and what is not. We seek absolute beauty as if it were the absolute zero of matter and we could quantify the separation of this property, progressively increasing the degrees of ugliness of what we know as unaesthetic.

Beauty is defined as the characteristic of a thing that, through a sensory experience (perception), produces a sensation of pleasure or a feeling of satisfaction.[1] It comes from manifestations such as form, visual appearance, movement and sound, although it is also associated, to a lesser extent, with tastes and smells. Along these lines and emphasizing the visual aspect, Thomas Aquinas defines beauty as that which pleases the eye (quae visa placet).
One difficulty in understanding beauty is due to the fact that it has both objective and subjective aspects: it is seen as a property of things but also as dependent on the emotional response of observers. It has been argued that the subject’s ability necessary to perceive and judge beauty, sometimes referred to as the “sense of taste,” can be trained and that expert verdicts agree in the long run. This would suggest that the standards of validity of beauty judgments are intersubjective, i.e., dependent on a group of judges, rather than completely subjective or completely objective. Conceptions of beauty aim to capture what is essential in all things beautiful. Classical conceptions define beauty in terms of the relationship between the beautiful object as a whole and its parts: the parts must be in the right proportion to each other and thus compose an integrated harmonious whole. Hedonistic conceptions include the relationship to pleasure in the definition of beauty by holding that there is a necessary connection between pleasure and beauty, i.e., that for an object to be beautiful it is necessary for it to cause disinterested pleasure. Other conceptions include defining beautiful objects in terms of their value, a loving attitude toward them, or their function.
