Camí de ronda palamós
Many places we visit is through a photo we see, especially on Instagram and Pinterest from there we go looking for more information to complete a route or place. Well in this case it was through a photo we saw of a sunrise in the gazebo that is in the Cami de Ronda de S’Agaró, so we made a trip to see the sunrise from there, although it was not the most beautiful sunrise as it was a little cloudy, but the desire is already fulfilled.
At the end of Playa Sant Pol, we have the 5* Hostal «La Gavina» where we started the second section, which unlike the previous one is very easy and also very crowded, especially on weekends.
At this point of Cala Sa Conca, we undo the path made until the end of the beach of San Pol, where instead of returning by the GR, we do it by the urbanization (as you can see in the photo of the map at the beginning) which is more pleasant and shorter until we find the indicator that leads us back down the steps to Cala Jonca.

El Camí de Ronda es la épica caminata costera catalana. Enlaza una serie de caminos a lo largo de la Costa Brava (que significa apropiadamente costa escarpada) desde la frontera con Francia bajando durante más de 250 km hasta Blanes. La ruta le llevará a través de un paisaje muy variado. Pasará por bosques de pinos y acantilados rocosos que conducen a hermosas calas solitarias, así como por pueblos pesqueros, centros turísticos y largas playas de arena.
Empezamos conduciendo hasta Sant Feliu de Guíxols y buscando un lugar para aparcar cerca de la playa. Echamos un vistazo al hábitat antes de ponernos en marcha. Una vez que estás listo para ir, empiezas subiendo a un mirador sobre el acantilado (en la foto de abajo), y luego sigues la línea de la costa hacia el norte.
El camino serpentea a lo largo de la Costa Brava, ya que hay muchas calas. Había bastante gente escalando mientras caminábamos por aquí, así que pudimos parar y ver cómo escalaban los acantilados bajo el sol.
Los senderos costeros del Camí de Ronda fueron construidos originalmente por los pescadores y la policía que estaban al acecho de los contrabandistas a lo largo de la Costa Brava. A veces han construido túneles a través de ellos, o pasarelas a lo largo de los acantilados para evitar pasos adicionales. Tengo que admitir que algunos de estos túneles me parecieron lugares ideales para que los contrabandistas se escondieran. Me hizo preguntarme si este camino ayudaba o dificultaba a los contrabandistas…
The coastal path from calella de palafrugell
We will start the walk at the beach of Sant Pol de Sant Feliu de Guíxols, noted for its colorful houses that swimmers can rent and that visitors can not stop photographing. Then we will head north, towards S’Agaró.
We will go around the point of Pau at the end of the bay, the cove of Vaixell, the plans of Pedrosa cove and Pedrosa cove itself, a small beach with a sandy shore. And then, we will arrive at the viewpoint of S’Agaró, which surely you will have heard about!
The tossa de mar coastal path
The town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, located between Castell- Platja d’Aro and Sta Cristina d’Aro, has a rugged coastline, with numerous inlets and ledges which, due to their impossible accessibility by car, are still practically virgin corners of great beauty.
To discover this wonderful environment, we invite you to walk along a coastal path that will take us from Platja de Sant Pol to Platja de Sant Feliu de Guíxols, about 5 km round trip, easily accessible but with different sections of stairs.
Continuing along the route marked by the coastal path, we will reach three very narrow and elongated coves, ideal for a dip in its turquoise waters, but without sand to lay your towel. They are Cala des Cranc, Cala dels Mussols and Cala del Peix, whose name comes from the fact that in 1912 a rorqual whale weighing 8 tons and 18 m. long was beached.
Sant Feliu de Guixols is fortunate to have several viewpoints from which to contemplate its wonderful coastline, in this section you will find many of them, Mirador «Peixeteres», «Triadores», «Dides» and especially the Mirador «Mestresses», where we recommend you stop for a few minutes, regain strength after several flights of stairs and enjoy the views of the Bay of Sant Pol.
