Palamós coastal paths

Itinerary that allows us to admire a good part of the coast between Lloret and Tossa de Mar, although we will not be able to follow it in its entirety: we will have to move aside during an intermediate stretch, between the Caleta d’en Trons and Cala Morisca, crossing through the interior of various urbanizations, away from the coastal line.
The GR 92 passes close by and we have seen it on the way to the castle. We go to find it and go down to Cala Banys. Then we pass by the side of the monument to the Dona Marinera and access the Passeig Marítim, which we walk along all the way to sa Caleta, at the foot of the unmistakable Castell d’en Plaja, where the camí de ronda begins.
Tiny. Thermal between Lloret and Tossa. We start off by a rocky area, following white painted signs, which will guide us during the whole next stretch. We start a nice trencacames with ascents and descents, often on a steep slope, saving the twists and turns of the tortuous orography of this part of the coast.

In this stage 11 of the GR 92 I will join two very touristic towns of the Costa Brava in a route that starts with a somewhat bitter taste but that, with its surprising final kilometers along the coastal path, will end up sweetening the stage.
The GR 92 leaves Tossa de Mar behind the bus station, so if you have reached Tossa by bus and you are not going to do stage 10 and do not know this town, I recommend that you dedicate a little time to it because both the town and its castle are worth it.
My recommendation is that these first steps (it is a VERY short section) are done by the coastal path, enjoy the coastal landscape and then join the GR 92. This is what you will see marked on the Wikiloc track.
All the landscape and the mountains of this coast – from the coastline to well into the mountains – seem to be dotted with them, a fact that confirms the great urban boom that took place and how it irreparably altered the coastal landscape. For the moment, the GR 92 does not approach any coves.

Desde Lloret de Mar en dirección a Tossa de Mar, comienza un tramo del «Cami de Ronda» (camino sobre el mar), el camino se abre paso por los acantilados, bosques de pino blanco llegando al mar y atravesando pequeñas calas. Estos caminos discurren paralelos a la costa, fueron creados hace siglos para hacer las «rondas» y vigilar los ataques marítimos y el contrabando. Para disfrutar de estas vistas, tendremos que poner a prueba nuestra forma física ya que todo el recorrido, aunque está perfectamente acondicionado, es una continua sucesión de escaleras de subida y bajada. Visitaremos el Turó Rodó, posiblemente el mejor mirador de Lloret. Hace más de 2.000 años se fundó allí un poblado ibérico, visitaremos una recreación de las casas originales.
