Monteró sant llorenç de montgai
El Parque Arqueológico de Sant Llorenç de Montgai es un equipamiento educativo y de ocio destinado a mostrar cómo pudo ser la vida prehistórica y a dar a conocer los métodos de investigación utilizados por la arqueología. Su objetivo final es promover el conocimiento del patrimonio prehistórico en el contexto del paisaje circundante.
El parque consta de réplicas de un campamento paleolítico al aire libre y de un asentamiento neolítico, así como de zonas que simulan diferentes aspectos de una excavación arqueológica. Estos elementos permiten conocer las tecnologías y actividades prehistóricas y comprender las técnicas de investigación actuales utilizadas para conocer el pasado a partir de los objetos.
Gracias a estas instalaciones, el Camp d’Aprenentatge de la Noguera, un servicio educativo del Departamento de Educación de la Generalitat de Cataluña, ofrece desde el año 2006-2007 la posibilidad de que alumnos de todas las edades realicen actividades que ayuden a comprender el territorio desde una perspectiva arqueológica e histórica.

In addition to hiking, cycling routes and kayaking excursions, the surroundings of the Sant Llorenç de Montgai reservoir also offer the possibility of climbing routes as interesting as those of the Paret de l’Ós, others such as those of the Mont-roig or Monteró mountain ranges, as well as ascents to the Coma de Gelis ridge, from where you can enjoy impressive and panoramic views of the landscape.

Sant Llorenç de Montgai is a village that belongs to the municipality of Camarasa, in the region of La Noguera. From its train station on the Lleida-La Pobla de Segur line, it is possible to make a large number of excursions in the surrounding area, especially to the north through the Mont-roig mountain range.
This clear improvement in service means that if we wish, we can make the excursion in a single day from Lleida, a city where we can connect with the regional or high-speed trains to our departure destination.
