The achievement indicators are elaborated from the evaluation criteria and are the element that makes it possible to grade each level of the stage the performance or achievement that the students have to acquire. The achievement indicators of the bridging document are indicative and not prescriptive. They give us a possible way of working in the classroom and are based on the evaluation criteria. Consequently, they guarantee that at the end of the stage the learning outcomes established by the learning standards are also achieved, related to each of the evaluation criteria from which they are based. They also establish a more precise relationship with the key competencies.
In the bridging document, they have been planned in a progressive and differentiated manner to facilitate the identification and sequencing of the basic learning at each level. In this way, the attention to diversity is reflected in the classroom programs and the continuity of learning between levels.
Secondary bridge document
The bridge document is a tool that facilitates the passage from Decree 108/2014, of July 4, of the Consell, which establishes the curriculum and deploys the general arrangement of Primary Education in the Valencian Community to the classroom programming.
It is a support document. It can be considered the second level of curricular concretion. It completes the relationship between RD 126/2014 (the Primary curriculum published by the MECD) and D. 108/2014 (the curriculum adapted to the Valencian Community) with all the areas of Primary Education.
This document allows us to see in a very quick way two very quick concepts: on the one hand the progression of the related elements along all the levels of the stage and on the other hand the levels of curricular competence that will make possible the programming and evaluation of reinforcement or extension learning and make the significant curricular adaptations (ACIS) for students with specific educational support needs, facilitating attention to diversity and inclusion.
Subjects in the valencian community
The Organic Law, the Royal Decrees and the autonomous regional Decrees define the general objectives, but do NOT establish specific objectives for each subject, so it must be the educational centers, within the framework of their autonomy, the ones responsible for drafting these specific or operative objectives.
In the Valencian Community, we find in primary education the «Objectives of the stage linked to the area» (article 11 of Decree 108/2014) and in secondary education the «Objectives of the respective stage linked to the subject or area» (article 4 of Decree 85/2015) as a prescriptive section of the didactic programs.
Therefore, there are general stage objectives, which are indicated in the different legislative publications and objectives linked to each subject, which must be drafted by the educational center and therefore by the teaching staff.
I propose to deduce this type of objectives without losing sight of the general objectives of the stage, taking as a reference the evaluation criteria of each subject and taking into account the following structure: Action, object, situation, purpose.
